The Illinois Chapter

About us

Free Tutoring + STEAM for All

Equity Learning Illinois Chapter provides free tutoring and accessible STEAM learning opportunities for young students, in person and online.

From math and science support to coding, engineering, 3D printing, and creative technology, we help students learn, explore, create, and grow.

Students move from idea → digital model → real printed object, with mentors beside them along the way.

Why we’re here

Learning should feel open, practical, and possible.

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT

3D Printing Summer Success

In Summer 2026, the Illinois Chapter hosted an eight-week, hands-on 3D printing series at Glenview Public Library for students under age 14.

Participants learned the full creation cycle—from design basics and digital modeling to print preparation, troubleshooting, and final project development.
