Yukai Hu is a freshman at Hammond School.
Yukai is an avid learner in mathematics and physics. He has participated in multiple extracurricular activities and has produced many outstanding achievements. He has qualified twice for Mathcounts National Competition, including first place at South Carolina State Competition in 2025. He also won the South Carolina Independent School Association Division 1 Math Meet twice. In 2026, he is a winner in the University of South Carolina and University of Geogia Math Competitions. His hobbies are swimming and piano, and he has achieved multiple awards.
Yukai plans to continue pursuing a STEM major in college.
