The California Chapter

California is home to incredible diversity and innovation. We are committed to ensuring students from all communities, especially those with limited access to advanced math opportunities, have the support and mentorship they need to thrive.

Equity Learning California aims to make math fun, engaging, and inspiring for students. Many elementary and middle schools want to start MathCounts teams but lack trained coaches to guide their students. Our California chapter provides hands-on MathCounts training for students while also preparing future math coaches who can help schools build and sustain strong competition programs. By supporting both students and coaches, we’re growing a vibrant math community across California.
