Avery Zhao is a rising freshman at Research Triangle High School. She is a motivated and hardworking individual with a strong dedication to both personal and academic growth.

Outside of academics, Avery is a dedicated student-athlete and musician. She plays tennis, demonstrating a strong combination of physical ability, mental focus, and social skills while continuously improving her performance. In addition, she plays the flute, expressing creativity through music while developing attention to detail and perseverance. She is also committed to helping others through volunteering and small acts of service, spending many weekends giving back to her community.

She believes in the importance of perseverance and understands that success takes time and effort. Looking ahead, Avery aims to continue growing both academically and personally as she works toward her future goals.
