Katherine Mei is an incoming freshman at the Academy of Science and Technology in Houston, Texas. Katherine enjoys math and language arts and often competes in math tournaments. She achieved distinguished honor roll in the AMC 8 (American Mathematics Competition), with a score of 25, as well as third place in the Mustang Math Tournament. Besides STEM activities, she also enjoys practicing the cello, having played for 3 years.
