Jason Qi is a junior at Livingston High School with a strong passion for STEM. He believes that technology has the power to improve quality of life and is dedicated to using his skills to make a positive impact. Jason currently serves as one of the co-captains of the Emerald Knights

Robotics Team at Livingston High School. Previously, he held leadership roles as both Head of Code and Head of Outreach, contributing to the team's technical development and community engagement. He leads programming efforts and helps expand community engagement. In 2026, he was recognized as a Dean’s List Semifinalist in FTC Robotics.

In addition to his technical interests, Jason has a deep love for music. He has been playing the piano and saxophone since elementary school and is currently a member of the school’s Jazz Improv Club, performing at various school events. Recently, he co-founded the Cover Band Club, where members perform popular songs at school functions and local community events.

Beyond academics and extracurricular activities, Jason is committed to community service. He volunteers regularly at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey whenever his schedule allows. He also serves as the Director of Technology at Teaching4Charity, where he teaches coding and helps expand access to technology education.
