Alex Zai is a freshman currently attending Fulton Science Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.

Alex has a passion for math and science as well as helping his community, and aspires to become a doctor one day. He actively partakes in science-based extracurricular activities, including competing in the USABO. He also volunteers to train younger kids to play basketball. 

His academic interests include anatomy, chemistry, biology, and math. He plans to help develop a dissection club at his school and contribute to starting a biology lab for future students to enjoy. 

Outside of academics, he’s won many athletic awards, including MVP for his JV basketball team, Athlete of the Month twice, and many other awards from past years. Alex averaged 20 points per game on his JV basketball team, plays on the Varsity team as well (where his team made the Elite 8 and runner-up for regions), and runs Varsity Track & Field in hopes of qualifying for state in long jump and triple jump. Additionally, Alex enjoys weightlifting and playing volleyball recreationally. Alex has a passion for learning how nutrition, mindset, and physical programming can affect performance.

He also enjoys building Legos, collecting trading cards, memorabilia, and figures, and hanging out with his friends.
