Rachel Dai is a freshman at Eastside High School.

Unlike many may expect, Rachel is passionate about arts and crafts. She has been consistently involved in art showcases and art sales, and has made many accomplishments through it. a

At school, Rachel co-founded a crochet and charity club she and a friend started this year. The club has made a few donations to local charities, creating a positive impact on the community while bringing students together through a shared purpose. 

As another form of art, Rachel has been playing the piano for almost a decade, and has achieved a lot from it. She’s received many awards and performed at various events, demonstrating both her dedication and passion for music. s

Rachel has also worked as a tutor for elementary school students, helping children with math and ELA. Now, she continues her passion for teaching by volunteering at her local Chinese school, where she teaches children how to crochet.
