Hi! My name is Sophia Chan and I am a rising sophomore at Bronx Science. It’s so nice to get to meet you!

Just to get to know me better, here are some of my recent hobbies and interests

• Programming
• I primarily work with website-building. I am currently designing a website from scratch using visual studio code. 
• Badminton
• Badminton is one of the few things I enjoy to keep myself physically active during the school year, even when I don’t have much time available. 
• Building legos
• The idea of putting together such a large structure that requires so much dedication and precision is my favorite way to pass time.
• Reading
• A few of my favorite books include Iron Widow, The Poppy War, Nyxia, Animal Farm, and The Odyssey

I have had a really good experience with a writing mentor before entering high school. I am looking to share my skills and knowledge with younger students to help them excel in school. Once they reach high school, I hope they also choose to join this program as a mentor.

Let’s expand the service to the community together. We look to make our programs avaiable for all subject across the nation.
